I received the following from Jerry Overby Carter, PHS Class of 1968, yesterday regarding her sister Charyle, PHS Class of 1970.  On behalf of all of the classes, please accept our deepest condolences.

Ms. Charlye B. Overby, 60 of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, July 4, 2013 at her residence. Ms. Overby was born in Buffalo Junction, VA August 24, 1952 to James E. and Joan Winfield Overby. She received her education in the Peekskill City Schools in Peekskill, New York. She attended Greater Hartford Community College, Hartford, CT and Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT. Charyle was employed by Diageo North America, Norwalk, CT as a Financial Analyst retiring in 2007. Cherishing her memories are three sons, Jarell (Giziebeth), Kendric Chavies and Timothy (Davyda) Overby, four grandchildren, Elijah, Jarell Jr., Isaiah Chavies and Timothy Overby II; her mother, Joan W. Overby; seven sisters, Betty Overby, Barbara Winston, Jerry Carter (James), Enolia Gibbs (Larry), Doris Overby, Louise Wilson (Ronald) and Audrey Overby; four brothers, James Overby Jr. (Carol) Edward Overby (Wendy) Thomas and Darryl Overby; one aunt, Doris Hester and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
