PRISCILLA ANN COE

1949-2016

Priscilla Coe, 67, died October 2, 2016.  She was born April 14, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant, New York to Aurelius and Anna Coe.  She graduated high school in Peekskill New York and earned her Bachelors Degree  from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Priscilla worked in the fields of culinary public relations, apitherapy and biodynamics.  Her employment and extensive volunteer work reflected her deep interest and commitment to food policy, sustainable agriculture, gardening, bee keeping and cooking.  She also was an advocate of the healing properties of apitherapy, aromatherapy and therapeutic herbalism.  She loved to spend summers teaching children the joys of cooking and gardening at Heart's Bend Camp in New Fane, Vermont; as well as the children of many  family and friends.  She also served as cooking instructor and school director at Arcade Cooking School in Seattle.

Priscilla is survived by her sister, Patricia Beville, Cape Elizabeth, ME; nephews, James Beville and family, South Hamilton, MA; Stephen Beville, Ph.D., Durango, CO and Michael Beville and family, Charleston, SC.  Her family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to Reyna Garcia of Comfort Keepers for her companionship and kindness to Priscilla during the past few years.
