Today, I received notice from Norman Kropf that a classmate from the Class of 1967 passed away and that it was quite a few years ago.  I did a search and found the obituary which is below.

Bernadine Castronovo of Mahopac, NY died Sunday June 13, 2010. She was 60. She was born in Peekskill, NY on October 17, 1949, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Bosick Marro. Bernie graduated from Peekskill High School and earned her Masters in Music Education from WestConn. She was a music teacher, teaching at all levels in the Mahopac Central School system. She retired in 2005 after 34 years with the district. Bernie was a member of the WestConn Alumni Association and a former member of NYSSMA. On August 14, 1982 she married Charles Castronovo at Assumption Church in Peekskill. She is survived by Charles and her two kitties, Marcello and Frankie. Visiting hours on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9:45 am at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac with entombment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
