Lloyd Edward Lawson, III, age 28, of Helena, died March 13, 2000.  He was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.  He also participated at the South Shades Crest Baptist Church.  He graduated from Pelham High School in 1991.  Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, at 3 p.m. at Southern Heritage with burial in Oak Mt. Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  Survivors: wife, Christy A. Lawson; son, Blake Edward Lawson; parents, Lloyd E. Lawson, Jr. and Rita C. Lawson of Helena; brother, Timothy L. Lawson of Hoover; sister, Jennifer F. Lawson of Helena; grandmother, Betty Kendricks of Helena; paternal grandfather, A.J.
