JOYNER, CHRISTOPHER BROOKS JOYNER, CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" BROOKS, age 38, of Birmingham, Alabama died Friday, April 8, 2011. He was born July 31, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Chris attended Pelham (Alabama) High School before graduating from Spanish River High School in Boca Raton, Florida. He owned and operated Harry's Place in Hoover, Alabama from 1999 to 2005. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jack and Joyce Joyner Jr.; mother and step-father, Jill and Randy Tapscott; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Dana Joyner III; niece, Jilian Joyner; and nephew, Jaxon Joyner. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. A memorial service has not been planned. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Children's Hospital in Birmingham.
