I remember Lori, me Shelly, Fern and probably others that I forgot all hanging out, talking about boys and listening to music. She loved Dylan! Always had a smile, and was a really good friend. She was quiet, but had an adventurous spirit. What I remember most is how close she was with her family. She's still missed after all these years.
Lori and I were very close friends and one thing I remember is that Lori, Fern and I would get together after school in one of our houses and eat tuna fish with vinegar and onions on toast. We loved eating, talking about the day and laughing. I also remember Home Economics in Finletter. We were in the same class and used to make faces at the different foods we'd prepare. Somehow we ended up with each others cookbook. I still have Lori's with her name printed so neatly at the top. I don't use the cookbook for recipes, but I do look at it every so often just to remember Lori and the fun times we shared. You will always be missed and always remembered.
