FRIEND, ERIC SCOTT - 56, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 9, 2014. He passed peacefully at home. He was born June 7, 1958 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of Gwendolyn Solomon Friend (deceased) and Charles Friend. He was the loving husband of Donna Crone Friend, and devoted father to Rob and Allie. Eric is also survived by his brother, Michael Friend and sister, Robin Hines. Eric was currently employed by Bath Fitter and had recently obtained his pastoral license in preparation for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ both in the U.S. and abroad. The driving force in his life was to serve others by showing them the love and truth of God. Eric lived daily as a constant helper to anyone in need, as well served faithfully as a spiritual father, brother and mentor to so many. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Praise Tabernacle, 2235 Ocean Heights Ave., Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 02834 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10:00 am at the church. There was only one and there will never be another Eric Friend.I loved that man and so did all of my close friends.
He was just a fun loving loveable guy and later on in life did so many things for so many people.
He will be missed.
