A message from Terri Ainsley, Bob Ainsley's wife, to his friends at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard:

 It is with great sadness I tell you of the passing of my husband and best friend Robert “Bob” Ainsley  (shop 71, P&E, SUPSHIP) on June 6, 2023.  Bob retired after 41 years of service, 25 of those at PNSY, 16 at NNSY, in 2011 and we retired to FL.  He loved his time at PNSY and often reminisced about all the good times and good friends he had there.  He will be missed by his family and friends.
