So sorry to read that Helene has passed. We enjoyed a couple of fun movie and pizza dates together way back in high school. She was so bright and a lot of fun.
I had heard that she passed when at our 25th reunion . She was one of my best buddies in HS. Incredibly bright, good natured, humble and kind. We helped each other in studies - she coached me in French, I coached her in math. Very sorry to have lost her.
Helene was that rare combination of "niceness" and "smarts." She ranked first in our class academically, and at graduation she was offered a scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania. She chose instead to attend West Chester (to be a big fish in a small pond??), where she was a French major. I'm sure, at Penn, she could have become an Italian general.
I hope she found some happiness in her too-brief tenure on Earth.

Can't believe she is gone. She was great fun and a great friend
