Kevin was a very kind and loving person. He had a smile that made you want to smile. I didn't know what a true friend he was until he showed up on my door step in New Mexico back when we were 19. He needed a friend and had no idea where to go. The war was raging and he was afraid. He had joined the guard to avoid the draft and his number came up. He came to me. I had no idea what he was trying to avoid. They found him and he went. He took care of his obligation. I didn't see him for another 30 years. He was still the friend I had known. He told me how he had almost died. Then he did. What a wonderful person. I will miss him forever.

MY DEAREST LIFE LONG FRIEND - KEVIN AND I WERE RAISED TOGETHER.  OUR MOTHERS WERE BEST FRIENDS... SO WE WERE  LIKE ONE BIG FAMILY...WITH HIM, HIS SISTERS, MY SISTER AND ME. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST REUNION I GO TO WITHOUT KEVIN.  BUT , I HAD A DREAM RECENTLY ... KEVIN  CAME TO ME AND SAID HE WOULD BE GOING TO THE REUNION WITH ME.  HE LOOKED LIKE HE DID IN HIS TWENTIES...IT WAS SO REAL.  HE SHOWED ME WHERE HE WOULD BE HANGING OUT... AT THE SPA...IN THE HOT TUB...WITH ALL THE GIRLS!!!  JUST LIKE HIM...SO WATCH OUT LADIES!!  I MISS HIM SO MUCH.  MARY MARTIN.
