My favorite memory of Chuck was a day trip to Sedona with Steve Sieberling, Ronda Olsen and myself. It had to have been early summer 1973. Steve was driving his dad's pickup, so seated left to right was Steve- me-Ronda-Chuck. The song by "Stealers Wheel" came on the radio; "Clown's to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you." Ronda and I thought the song was apropos!!
