I have had many careers over the last 45 years, including 20+ years as a Mineral Landman, 5 years in retail sales and management, 4 years as a Production Manager for a Manufacturing Co, and 5 years in Cemetery and Mortuary sales. The last 10 years I have been in Software Sales and Consulting for an ERP Software application that runs small to medium sized manufacturing companies.

My Wife, Nita, and I have lived in our present home since 1992. Nita and I raise Quarter Horses, participate in Reining Horse & Reined Cowhorse competitions, and keep fit by training 2 to 3 times a week at a Boxing Gym. I also keep active maintaining our 8 horses, 3 dogs and little ranch (Paradise) in Northeast Phoenix. We also have 2 cats, but they pretty much take care of themselves. It gives me a reason to rise in the morning, when all those animals are depending on me. We also have a second home in Sonoita/Elgin area in Southern Arizona that we may to move to in our old age, but the jury is still out on that.

I wasn't much of a student, but I was in FFA, on the Wrestling Team and sang in the Chorus. During my High School years I was very active in 4-H Club activities, and 4-H horse shows. In the fall of 1968 I was proud to be a member of the Arizona delegation to the National 4-H Congress in Chicago IL.

During High School, my friend Don Tash and I decided that we were going to run away and ride the rails. We had the lofty ambition of becoming Hobos. We got as far as the Black Canyon Freeway and Dunlap, at the old Blakely Oil Station, before we gave up on that idea. I guess we didn't think it out very well.
