There was a pivotal time in my life when I needed someone to be a good example, someone who was less concerned about labels and public opinion and more concerned about what really mattered in life.  I needed someone who didn’t mind speaking the truth.   Someone that wasn’t afraid to tell me I needed to be humbled.  There was Sherrie.  She was tenacious.  She was class personified and my association with her made me a better person.  I miss her engaging personality and positive nature.  There is a void.  For those that would like to visit Sherrie’s final resting place, she is buried in the Mesa City Cemetery Block 685 Lot 2 Grave 7.

Sherrie was one of our Maryland school graduates. I remember that she enjoyed everyone and everything. She always seemed to be laughing and smiling. She was fun to be around. I remember her as being a warm, open person with a sparkling personality. She was a bright and welcoming light to all around her.

Sherrie and I hung out together in 7/8 grade.  We had several classes together.  I would go over her house for lunch (great charming family). I would go to the youth group at her church as well.

She had the most gentle heart and was just a sweet wonderful person.

I was very sad to hear of her passing.
