IN MEMORY OF

SHEREE WRIGHT REYNOLDS

11/3/1951 - 4/12/2006

The following was written by Myrna Western (Sutter)

Sheree was a salt of the earth, good and decent human being.  She was incredibly kind and strong with nerves of steel as she started each new adventure.  Obstacles were just a minor inconvenience and she always found a way to thrive.  She moved next door to me in the 6th grade.and began attending Orangewood Grade School.  I was asked to be her friend and walk her from school.  She became my best friend and remained so until she left this earth, but in my heart she will always be the best friend anyone could ever be blessed with and I miss her today and always!  We shared the most amazingly fun times, the saddest times and the very joyous times of our lives.

When she passed, she was living in New Mexico, managing a real estate brokerage business with her husband, Doug.  She had worked for many years in the gaming industry in Las Vegas and New Mexico and for awhile between Nevada and New Mexico, she was back in Arizona working as a prison guard in Safford, then working in child care in Phoenix so she could be home with her children.

At the time of her death, Sheree was 55 years old and living in Los Lunas, New Mexico.  She is survived by her husband Doug, her daughter Cameo and her sons Brett and Travis.

Myrna, I didn't know Sheree but your tribute to her was very inspiring, funny how small things that happen in our lives (like Sheree moving in next door to you) become such major events in our lives. I am sure that Sheree was proud to have you as a best friend in her life.

Hi Mark!  Thank you, and yes, sometimes it takes some distance to see how impactful those little things become.  It has been bothering me that I left out details, which are important for her story.  It was of course, Orangewood grade school, and her married name was Cowan.

Thank you all.  Sharon, her sister Pam said she passed peacefully in her sleep.  I don't have exact medical details, but heart/blood pressure related.  My understanding is she wasn't taking her BP meds, as she should have.  Take care of your health!
