Linda Hutchison (Mangin)

Mangin, Linda Elaine (Hutchison) 62, passed away Nov. 22, 2014, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.  Linda's beauty, kindness and generosity were matched only by her strength as she bravely battled cancer for nearly a year.
Born August 26, 1952, Linda was the first daughter of 8 children of Timothy and Beatrice Hutchison. At 16, she met her loving husband, Gary Mangin at the movie theater at Christown Mall. They married in 1974 and raised their three children: Amy, Eric and David at their home in Glendale. Linda was an ER nurse at St Joseph's for 25 yrs and Thunderbird Hospital for 15 yrs.

She will be remembered with love and warmth by her husband, Gary, her daughter Amy Malloy (John) her sons Eric and David; her mother Beatrice Hutchison, her sisters: Sheila Raleigh (Ed), Eileen Charbonneau (Alan), Andrea Boat (Bill); her brothers: Timothy Hutchison (Judy), Mark Hutchison (Deanne), Greg Hutchison (Pamela), her four grandchildren, Tayla, Aiden, Madeleine and Brendan, and 38 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She will also be remembered with love by her dear in-laws: mother-in-Law, JoAnne Whitney, sister-in-law, Margaret Mangin, and Mary Violet Relling (Bill Evans), and brothers-in-law, Didar Singh Khalsa (Didar Kaur Khalsa), Michael Mangin (Eve Hinkley), Stephen Mangin (Deidre), and 12 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew. Her beloved father and her brother Gary preceded her in death.

Visitation and Rosary: Friday Nov. 28 at Heritage Funeral Chapel at 6830 W. Thunderbird, Peoria, AZ 85381, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Rosary at 7:00. Funeral Mass: Saturday, Nov. 29 at St. Jerome Catholic Church at 10815 N. 35th Ave, Phx AZ 85029, at 11 am, with burial to follow service at Resthaven Park Cemetery at 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.

(We fondly remembered Linda last evening on our Zoom... I will try to locate and address for her family and write to let them know she is remembered fondly by the WHS Class of 1970.)

Oh my, I remember Linda from grade school...we were good friends back then and continued a friendship at WHS. I've thought about her often.
