John Edward Archibald, 43, Glendale, the director of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, died June 10, 1996.  He was born in Phoenix.  

Survivors include his wife Deborah; daughter Samantha L; son Sean T; mother Daisy Leona; sisters Ellen Turpin, Regina Paderich and Valerie Padelford; and brothers Martin, Coleman and Marlen.  

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N Seventh St.  Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, at the mortuary.
