A memorial service for Steven E. Young, age 50, who passed away February 12, at his home in Lakeside will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 19th at the Calvary Church on Rainbow Lake Drive in Lakeside.
Steve was born at Ft. Leonardwood, MO and has lived in Arizona for the past 33 years. Steve graduated from Washington High School in Phoenix and obtained a degree in Horticulture at A.S.U. He was also a carpenter, and refurbished homes to sell. He has lived in Lakeside for the past 8 years. Steve enjoyed the White Mountains and especially loved coaching little league baseball and football.
Steve is survived by his wife, Susan of Lakeside; 2 sons, Josh Atchison of Pinetop and Dylan of Lakeside; 1 Daughter, Brooke (Patrick) Roberts of U.S.A.F. in Bitburg, Germany; his parents, William and Dolores Young of Dittmer, MO; 2 brothers, Bill of Phoenix and Wayne of Arizona City; 2 sisters, Debbie Browder of Carefree and Linda of Missouri; 3 grandchildren.
