Steven Abrams, age 54, of North Canton, passed away Thursday morning, April 5, 2007 in his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer for the past eight years.

Steven was born on May 21, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Arizona State University. He was a member of Temple Israel and President of its Brotherhood. Steven was a scrap metal dealer working with several area companies and more recently with Magnum Steel and Trading.

Preceded in death by his father, Howard Abrams. He was a loving husband to his wife of 30 years, Joan (Wisch) Abrams; and proud father to his children, daughter, Jessica and son, Eric both of the home and son, Zachary of Cleveland. Also survived by his mother, Sonia Abrams of Phoenix, Ariz; sister, Sharon Kuller of Phoenix, Ariz; and brother, Dan Abrams of Sierra Vista, Ariz.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Temple Israel in Canton with Rabbi John Spitzer officiating. Interment in Mount Olive Cemetery in Solon, Ohio.
