Sherry, as we called her, lived across the street from me and was the only GIRL in the neighborhood who had a swimming pool. Sherry and Debbie Howell, down the street, were the heart throbs of the hood. You couldn't ask for a better friend, she always talked to the boys like they were one of the gang and never snubbed us because we were geeks. They wore Bikinis, WOW! ...truly a friend and sweet person. I saw Sherry at Ron Childers house back in the 80s still the same happy, funny and beautiful.
