OH DEAR DIANA AND THE FAMILY,  I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS OF YOUR DEAR MIKE, DAD, BROTHER, & PAPA.  WHAT JOY HE GAVE US ALL.  I JUST RE-READ ALL THE WONDERFUL COMMENTS HIS WEST HIGH AND ST GREG'S CLASSMATES AND FRIENDS ALL WROTE ABOUT HIM OVER THESE LAST 4 YEARS SINCE WE WERE TOLD IN APRIL 2019 OF HIS CHANGES.  HE IS FREE NOW AND I AM SURE SHARING HIS WONDERFUL SHINING HEART AND PERSONALITY WHEREVER HE "FLIES".  SUCH AN ANGEL OF HAPPINESS. "GOD REST HIS MERRY SOUL". I AM SO GLAD HE WAS IN MY LIFE. SINCERELY, CAROL HAZELETT

Mike and I stayed in touch a little on Facebook over the past several years. So sad to hear of his passing.

My condolences to you Diana and the family. I am so sorry to just now learn of this, I would have liked to have come to Mike's memorial service. Mike and I go way back to our days at St Gregory's. He was an altar boy, but I was not. I didn't want to learn Latin. Funny the church threw out Latin in the mass shortly after that. Mike shared some scintillating news about what was going on behind closed doors in the sacristy...I couldn't believe it! But with what we know now, makes me wonder. I had the pleasure of singing a duet with two other of my college buddies. Bob Elliot played the organ, and Adrianne Bridgewater and I sang "Make of our Hearts" from West Side Story. We lost touch for a while, but a few year later, I was having my pickup serviced, and who popped up from under the hood but Mike! I stayed with that garage until Mike retired. Sure miss his honest assessment of what was wrong with my truck. Mike's in a better place now...I will miss him. Rest in Peace Mike.
