Alan and I are raising our 5 kids on a farm north of Pierre about 20 miles. We grow mostly grains, and a few critters--just enough to keep the yard "mooing" ; "baaing" ; and "clucking". Our lives revolve the season of farm, getting the kids to and from school and church once a week. This is enough to keep everyday an adventure in living the dream.
