Liz was so beloved by many many people.  All it took was one conversation and Liz was your friend for life.  So many hearts are broken by this terrible news.  Liz you will be so sorely missed by everyone who had the honor to call you friend. Rest is peace, you will always be with us in spirit.

I knew Liz in high school and had not seen her until the 30th reunion and although we chatted here prior to the reunion when we met it was as if she had known me forever without missing a beat. It  is true that you don't know what you have unti lt's gone so tell that loved one everyday before they walk out that door that you love them.

Although my best girlfriend of 10 years is still Alive, she chose to end our relationship just recently and I wished that I had made more loving gestures when I had the chance. We get caught up in our day to day and get comfortable but it is so important to tell that person how much they are loved as we may not get that chance and one day it is too late and regret not saying those words as often or when we did have that chance.

Jamie, that is a great pic of you Jackie Caruthers and Liz back in the day .

I remember Liz from high school we were in some classes together.  I  she was always kind and had a

great personality,  I remember that she also had a great sense of humor.. Im sorry to hear that she has gone

and my prayers go out to her family...

Wow - talk about getting the rug pulled out from under you.  How frightening to die less than 2 months after a devastating diagnosis.  I'm blown away.  Was never friends with Liz in high school but loved how she reached out to EVERYONE on facebook.  Yeah, she was funny and a good friend but she was a bright lady who had some intelligent political opinions that I'll miss.  What a tremendous loss to her family, her friends and her fans.  Peace be with you Liz.
