I had no idea. Nice, sweet person. A friend. I am sad.

i am saddened & stunned. we were best friends in fourth grade ... we used to find a place away from all of the other kids at recess so we could look through our tiger beat and sixteen magazines, and talk about our mutual crush on david cassidy; we didn't want anyone else to know because we thought they would make fun of us!

She was such a sweet person. She was a terrific mother and her family was everything to her.

I'm so sorry. Iris was a good friend of mine in elementary school. We used to ride home together on the Greyhound bus from College Park.

I too did not know. We endured homeroom for many years together - and she was a genuinely nice person. She will be missed.

I have nothing but fond memories of Iris - she was such a kind and gentle person. I was so sad to hear that she is no longer with us, but her smile will always stay with me.
