bobbi & i were best friends at pikesville junior high, 7th through 9th grade. i will never forget how every afternoon as soon as the bus dropped her home, she would call me so that we could discuss our day ... all the teachers we loved; the teachers we didn't love at all; and all the boys we had crushes on ... we talked for hours. i remember all the sleep overs at her house, in that farm, lofty thing mitzi and jerry had. i remember how much she loved gymnastics & miss politino, and how much i hated gym and was scared of miss politino [about the only thing we disagreed on!]. i remember a funny, vibrant, smart, kind, beautiful young girl who was the consummate best friend. unfortunately, we went our separate ways in high school. we were reunited, briefly, in our thirties [my husband knows calvin hamburger, jerry schwartz's friend and attorney, who later handled legal matters for bobbi ... when calvin found out about my childhood best friend, bobbi, he initiated a reunion]. it was bittersweet and we stayed in touch for a time, and then, lost one another again. the next thing i know, i received a late night call from calvin saying bobbi had passed away.
bobbi, i hope you know what an impression you made on my life, and the lives of others, and how loved you were, and how sorely missed you are. i hope you have finally found your peace.

Bobbi,
Last week was Shelby's Jr. Prom. We had such a great day with all the preparations and taking pictures at the various pre-prom parties. She looked absolutely gorgeous and I know you would be so proud! She reminds me of you in so many ways... I wish you were the one to have spent this special day with her.

You were recovering from major back surgery during our 20th reunion and therefore could not attend. You will be greatly missed at our 30th reunion as well.

Memories of you will live in my heart forever,
Pam

Bobbi,

This past weekend was our 30th reunion. I missed you, as I do everyday. I cherish all of our wonderful years of friendship and wish you were still here with me. Rest in peace my friend.....

Love,
Judy
