While I did not actually attend Pikesville (Boys' Latin), I grew up in Summit Park, attended Summit Park Elementary and was at Beth El / USY through the end of H.S. My wife got me hooked into playing with Facebook and hence to this site. I appreciate the site administrator allowing me to appear as a guest.
I left Pikesville 30 years ago for UVA and then Univ. of Miami Law and stayed in South Florida. I was initially a prosecutor, then ran a litigation department for 15 years before going solo about 2.5 years ago. Currently I am a sole practicioner handling commercial litigation and employment litigation cases in the Fort Lauderdale area. My wife Lisa is in house counsel with a major (and healthy) bank.
Living in Florida means year round outdoor sports, and I remain active playing tennis and coaching my son in lacrosse and soccer. Lacrosse has become very popular in the past few years down here.
For fun, we travel and see a lot of Disney as well - Disney has lots of perks for Florida residents. We also had our wedding at the chapel outside the Grand Floridian 10 years ago.
The dichotomy of growing up and maturing sometimes plays an interesting fate. I wanted a change from Pikesville, but wound up in Weston, Florida which is essentially a clone of Columbia, MD., a planned community of about 55,000 with a large Jewish population. That said it is nice to recognize names of people I once knew and may know again in the future.
