Thank you all for taking the time to remember Denny.  I find that I often learn things about Denny's life through the kind comments.

I tend to have memories of CAHS classmates, but am unable to place them as to which classes we had together.   I know that Denny and I did have classes together at CAHS, but which they were, I cannot say.

What I do remember of Denny is that, again, and again, and again, he would invite me to attend "Young Life" meetings.   Growing up in a staunchly Roman Catholic home,  it took awhile to get permission from my mom.  I cannot say that these meetings were instrumental in my growth in my life as a Christian, but they opened up my vision as to the different facets of the family of Christ.   I am forever grateful that Denny took the initiative to continue to ask me, again and again, to attend a meeting.

We attended PSU together while at Main Campus, and I know we crossed paths there, but no real memories of those times.

A sadness is felt, each time I read of one of our fellow Chargers finishing their race.   I am thankful that, with this website, we have the opportunity to get to know one another, one more time.

So impressed to see all that Denny accomplished in his life!   Well done, my good and faithful servant!

What a man of faith! My sympathies to all. It is amazing that I am finding out more about my classmates now than when I was a student at CAHS. What a journey we are all on since high school! Inspiring to see how God has been a part of our lives!

Denny was always so kind with a smile as he worked diligently as our paperboy back in the day.  On those cold snowy days, he'd come to collect our fees and gave me the receipt stubs using frozen fingers covered by his work gloves.  Unfortunately, I never knew him well in high school but knew of his devoted faith to His Savior.  He certainly left quite a legacy to his beautiful family and friends.
       Blessings, my friend.

We were neighbors with the Pattyn  family on Hampstead Drive in Royal Oak Manor for many years. Denny  and Greg's Mom would drive us to Youth Club at Beulah Church every Wednesday after school.  That is where the seed was planted and grew into making Denny such a wonderful man with a strong faith.  It was great to talk with Greg at the 50th  reunion and catch up on the past years.  My most sincere sympathies to you,Greg, and to the entire Pattyn family.  Well Done Good and Faithful Servant!

I didn't know Denny personally ,and it's always sad when a loved one passes . I tried sending you a personal message asking to how yiour sister  Linda is doing , but wouldn't go through . I know it's off topic ,but no way to ask you besides a general post to the public .
