Catherine died in 2017 in Palo Alto, CA at age 75 or 76.  Her burial is in Alta Mesa Memorial Park.  She was born 3-6-1941.  Catherine was last on our website 3-18-2016.  The rest of this obituary is from her profile on our website.  Catherine graduated from St. Mary's of Notre Dame with a degree in English Lit.  Then went on to get a B.S. in nursing from The University of Pittsburgh.  Then got an MSM in psychiatric nursing from Boston University.  Married, and spent a few years teaching at Georgetowm University.  Then was a psychotherapist with an HMO in the DC area for many years; later was the administrator for one of their medical centers.  Divorced a long time ago, but moved to California in 1994 to be with her partner, whom she known for 40+ years.  She  has 5 children and 2 grandkids.  She worked in research for a pharmaceutical company until Catherine retired in 2008 due to health Issues.

Catherine had a rough time in high school.  She dated Scott Redding, who died in an auto accident when she was about 16.  It took a long time to get over that.  Her junior and senior years were a blur to her.  She remembers her friendships with Nancy Kaufman and Dot Fitch and others.
