We were in the same class and when the teacher called our name which sounded similar, Gwen would answer it because she was smarter than me.

Rest in peace, Gwen.

Sorry to hear about Gwynne! She was the first girl I ever kissed and that was in 5th or 7th grade. She was such a nice girl! I hope she knew the Lord Jesus as her personal Saviour!

I knew John Fletcher as a very good athlete from Little League. I did not know he was such a lover at THAT age and then becomes a minister. We are hopeful that John's wife had a smooth and succesful surgery on the 29th.

I remember Gwynne from seventh grade.  I didn't know her very well, but I remember thinking that she was drop-dead gorgeous.  And I never told her that until a reunion about 30 years after we graduated.  She got a smile out if it (and she stll looked great).

I remember having lunch in the cafeteria with Gwynne most days when we were seniors.  We had a huge party for the whole class of '59 at her house after one of the football games.  She was always fun to be with.
