Lois lived pretty close to me during high school & I frequently hitched a ride to school with her dad or sisters. Our friendship continued up until her untimely death. We socialized with the same group of people after graduation and ended up marrying two guys from that group who were friends. She had five children and developed cancer when the youngest was only a couple of years old. Everyone who knew her desperately wanted her to be healed, but she had what some have called, dying grace. She was in her early 30's when she passed. It would be safe to say she was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. She totally was a "servant of all", and always cheerful, right to the end.
