Gene was one of the kindest sweetest guys I had ever known. I had a few classes with him and we became good friends. I will never forget his smile or the cartoons he used to draw for me. My favorite and most touching memory was in our senior year, I had broken up with my boyfriend about a month before prom and Gene had offered to cancel his date with a friend and take me...I didn't go with him, but I will never forget his offer. Gene & I kept in touch for a while when I was at OU and I still have all the letters and drawings that he sent me when I was there and will treasure them and his memory always.
I remeber Gene Dahlin he was a friend of mine. We lived togther at Ward Home. He like to play basket ball and was a very fun loving guy. He had a very good artistic ability. I was sadden when I learned he had died, he was so young. He was a good friend and we all miss him.
