Burton Borovetz

Mark and I were friends from early childhood.  We grew up together.  Our parents were best friends, and we called each other "cousins".  We remained friends through the years.  Mark was a good guy, very funny, and loved to debate.  Once when we were in junior high we spent the day at Kennywood and ran out of money, so we had to walk home.  We often laughed about that.  His life was his family.  He had more children, grandchildren, and extended family than I could possibly keep track of.  Even though we haven't been in touch that often in recent years, we did speak a month ago, and he shared his health problems with me.  I feel a deep sadness at his passing.  Burt Borovetz
