Fred was my first love. I have a lot of memories, too numerous to write about. He was a great man, husband and father to his wife, Tammy and boys. One memory I shared was Fred taking Ellen Stump to a high school dance. Ellen was a little rough around the edges and a bit cross eyed. He bought her some flowers and took her to the dance to make sure that she felt special. I can only imagine how that affected her life. I think we could have all learned a lesson from that. Don't judge a book by it's cover---that old adage.

I had alot of respect for Fred. He's one of the guys that stand out most to me from High School. My first ever encounter with the guy was on the playground back in 3rd or 4th grade...where he promptly knocked the wind out of me! :)

I really never had any bad encounters with Fred. He always seemed laid back and had a few wise cracks to make but he never went out of his way to make me miserable or anything. It was sad to hear of his passing and like most will be missed.
