Our Dearest Friend Charlie, Barry and I were devastated to hear of your passing. You were one of the kindest souls we knew and there is such an emptiness in our Hearts now. We will Always have our memories that will forever be cherished. I'd like to share a short story with our Plainedge Alumni that I don't believe anyone at Plainedge knows. The reason my husband Barry and I got married is because Charlie introduced us on a so called "blind" date which I was very reluctant on going. By the end of the night, Charlie saw the way Barry was looking at me and said: "you two will be marrying each other" I told Charlie he was Nuts! Charlie knew Barry from No Virginia Ave because Charlie and his dad, Robert Palado and his dad, and Barry and his dad, were all in a father/son bowling league as children, Charlie and Barry knew each other many years before I came along. I will forever be grateful to Charlie for introducing me to My Best Friend, My Soul Mate, and My Husband as we will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary this year. A few years back, Charlie attended one of my big July 4th parties at my home and we were so happy that we got to sing Happy Birthday to Charlie, as July 4th is his actual Birthday too! My son Jason and I were talking the other day and we are thinking of a memorial tribute to Charlie this July 4th, so Charlie, we will be lighting up the sky in your honor this July 4th, 2016. Again, we will Miss you and Love you for all Eternity Our "Cupid" friend, and be sure to Rock Heaven with a little bit of "Born to be Wild" 🌹🙏💔 We will Love You Forever.
Charlie, I will miss you! Cutting class many times a day and playing handball with all the guys behind the school, you and all the rest of the handball gang, we will truly miss you! Such a big heart and and a teddy bear of a guy, you will be dearly missed. My best to your dearest friends and family. You were a true "Prince!". Rest well my friend and stand proud, you lived your life as all we should.
To my dear friend Charlie, you will be missed by all as a wonderful friend and someone so fun to be around with. You are someone I am very proud to say was my friend without a doubt. My thoughts and prayers go out to your son, family and friends. I know your son will survive knowing that you were a great father and taught him how to be a survivor in this world. His touch for being a loyal friend, with a heart overflowing with kindness for others. My memories are fond as well. Our paths crossed so briefly, though he left an impact that has stayed with me over the years. He showed such caring and understanding when we shared our thoughts. It was as if no one and nothing else was around that mattered more then our connection. That was so unfamiliar for me as a young high school girl, those moments were powerful and have flowed softly back to me over the years. Will hold you and my memories close always. May each of us yearn for the day when thoughts of Charlie bring a smile to our face, before it brings a tear to our eye.

Hey Charlie...just had to stop by and write you a little note.....I hope you are enjoying your new life in Heaven by now you have met up with your loved one's and friends I know you are healthy now and young...I went to see someone and was told you are 38 yrs old in Heaven damn Charlie wish I was 38 again....I was also told you didn't suffer you had no pain you just went very fast I thank GOD for that ....I just wish you weren't along that so bothers me so much....Go easy my friend YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY THOUGHT'S AND HEART ..till we meet again...Love, Anne

Hey Charlie...ok this is it tomorrow I get my back surgery I kept my promise to you that I would take care of myself...I want you in the operating room watching ova me...I know in my heart you will be there and make sure I will be alright we both know how much you liked doctors....NOT...so knowing this I know you will kick ass if I'm not being well takin care of during the surgery....I miss you so much....my heart aches.....till we meet again Rest Easy My Rock!!!
