Just looking at all the reunion pics makes me so jealous. Sure wish I could have been there. And the stupid conference I had to go to was no fun at all...well, there was a chocolate cheesecake that made it worth it, but other than that, wish I'd been at the reunion! Can't wait for the next one!

Hi Linda:

Get ready to have fun at our 65th Birthday party on August 1st 2015!  Ideas are already coming together.  Make sure that you save the date.  Hope this finds you healthy and happy.

OK, I'm finally settled in Florida.  I still miss my So. Cal life/friends and especially weather but we'll make do, there's worst places to retire! I am so happy to hear we're having a 65th. I've already made plans to be there.  I missed being there for the last reunion but with selling my house, preparing to move etc. it wasn't in the plan.  Not to mention how it turned out , I had to fly back a month later for my 17 yr. old nephew's funeral in Otsego.  Come August 2015, count me in! As usual,  knowing our "girls" it will be a bash to remember.  We're so fortunate to have our wonderful organizers! Can't wait to see you all.  Virginia

By the way,If any of you are in the Orlando area, hit me up, I would love to meet any or all of you in Sunny Florida.  I'm still new here but I'm sure we could find a few places to play!

Was very sorry to read about so many folks losing a parent this last month. It's so difficult. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Also, Gloria, sorry about losing your husband. Prayers for you and your family!

Dear Class of '68

PLEASE forgive me for not RSVPing!!!!
I was waiting for the right time to write a fond and
thoughtful greeting to you all,
but it did not occur!

I hope that all of you had a wonderful time together!
Thanks for putting me on the guest list regardless of
my poor manners. Looked fun.
Ya know at Gilkey we used to play ball at Sheila's
and Bruces's fields.

Unfortunately I had some auditions for my next
show that were scheduled for that wkend., long
before I knew of the Party. There were just
too many folks involved to switch the date and the director
needed to be there! Besides those auditions,
I needed to work--at the last-minute,
of course--to prepare
for the beginning rehearsals of my current show.
Between the two gigs, I could not
make the travel!

Please know that I missed you all, and deeply regret
scheduling conflicts with our last Reunion and the
opportunity to see you all!

Looking fwd. to the next one, however.

My best to all!
"Cutler"

Mary:  I was thinking the same thing as I looked at the pictures from the "65" celebration at Dave & Sheila's:  It looked like a ton of fun - and you had a good-sized group in attendance!  Unfortunately, our summer has been as action-packed as Mary's, but not in a very positive way!  We went on a 12-day cruise/land tour in Alaska in June, and both my husband and I got sick - and it lasted almost 2 weeks after we returned home:  THAT was not the way to see our 49th state!  It was awesome, but when you're not feeling well, and they really don't know what you have - you're just left to take care of yourselves......regardless, it was something viral - and long gone now.  Then, we got a call on July 20th that changed our lives forever, as it was my husband Roger's son calling to tell us that his oldest son Brian had passed away at age 26.......THAT is not a call you ever want to get!  So, no matter what else is going on in your life:  Remember to take the time every single day to tell your family and friends that you love them:  It can be taken away from you in an instant.

We hope to be in great health so we are able to "come North" for the 50th reunion in '18.....stay well and happy, everyone.

Fondly,

Melanie (McBride) Springer

I kept in touch with Murray Harrison through FB, of all ways.   He was always kind in his comments and very complimentary.

I was truly looking forward to seeing him at our upcoming 50year reunion.

Now it'll be in the hereafter.  Thinking of you, Murray.

I will  also miss Murray , it goes to show us all how everything can change in the blink of an eye, and those we love can  no longer be told we are sorry for things we may have said to them, Precious memories of yesterday can strengthen our faith today and tomorrow

Anyone else think we're a pretty special class? *Most* of us were born in 1950. Graduating in 1968, *most* of us turned 18 during that year. Here we are in 2018*, celebrating our *50th* anniversary and turning *68* this year! I think we are a once in 100 years phenomenon!

We really are an awesome class, Gail. How many others have stayed connected all these years (without the benefit of social media for most of those years?). Can't wait to see everyone in August!

I read through all of the "roses" today and it breaks my heart to see so many of our classmates gone waaaay before their times. Too young. Praying they all have found a better life after leaving this one. Blessings to all of you. PLEASE, stay healthy, happy, and filled with joy!
