Q&A-MUST READ

Questions About Advertising and Solicitations

Will advertising be displayed on this site?
Answer: No. Unlike other systems, the idea behind Class Creator is to keep sites clean, professional, and uncluttered.

Will unsolicited emails be sent to my Classmates?
Answer: Only in these two circumstances: 1) A reminder to update profile will be sent to Classmates if their profile has not been updated in more than 6 months, and 2) A New Year's Day reminder is sent to Classmates suggesting that the start of the new year is a good time to update their profiles. Other than these two reminder emails, the only person we will ever email is you, the Site Administrators. We'll only mail you when we have something important to say, such as announcing a new feature of Class Creator. We will never send you spam email or solicitations of any kind that do not pertain to Class Creator.

Does class creator rent, sell, or in any way profit from having my Classmates' names and personal information?
Answer: No. We do not engage in renting or selling your Classmates' information, or any form of solicitation regarding your Classmates whatsoever. You can have the utmost confidence that your Classmates' information is held strictly confidential.

I read in your FAQs that you don't rent or sell my Classmates' personal information, but how can we know that you really don't? (Yes, we really get this question...)
Answer: You're going to have to trust us. We do not rent, sell, or profit from your Classmates' personal information in any way. Really. Classmate information such as email address, physical address, and phone number is also never displayed on your web site. It is 100% safe from being indexed by search engines as well. We do not, nor will we ever, do anything that would allow anyone to obtain your Classmate information. That's about as clear as we can make it.

First time user... what do I do?
If it’s your first time to the web site, please create your login by clicking the "Missing Classmates" button, scroll down to your name, click it and enter your current contact information.  You can provide as little or as much information as you like without fear of spam.  You can set your profile to display your contact information or to keep it private.  It's up to you!  This website is private and the information in it is not available in search engines, although the website's homepage is.

You can also share personal updates, memories, photos and videos with your classmates here.  Enjoy looking at the profiles of old friends and don’t forget to add your own photos and comments.  Check back often as classmates will continue to post new photos and updates.

Please help make the reunion a success by letting all of your friends and classmates from Archer High class of 1989 know about the web site.  If your name is not listed under Classmate Profiles or if someone is not listed, please send me an email [contact me tab] and I will get it updated so you can access the web site.

What do the Green check and Yellow star mean by people's names?
If you see a green check by someone’s profile, it indicates the classmate's profile information has not been verified by the classmate and the information provided is only the last known. If you see a yellow star by someone’s profile, it indicates the classmate has been on this website and updated his or her profile with current information.

Who can see my personal information that I enter?
You can choose what you would like to be displayed to other classmates.  The site can be setup so that only those that have an account on our system can see any of your information.  By default, your City and State are listed, but your address, email, & phone number are not listed on the site.  You can choose to turn them on if you would like.  We would like you to at least list your City and State so that the front page stats that show where everyone is living are at least somewhat accurate.

Why do some people have high school yearbook pictures under their profile and some don't?
We are in the process of scanning in all the high school yearbook senior pictures and linking them to each student.  So, for now, if you don't have a picture, it is because we did not find one in the yearbook.  If that is the case, please email the picture to us and we will get it inputed into the right spot.
