FLOYD L. BASS, Jr., 57 Auto Technician

WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Floyd L. Bass, Jr., age 57, of Winter Haven, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 in Winter Haven due to heart failure.

Mr. Bass was born in Sacramento, CA, and had lived in the area since 1972. Floyd was a self employed auto technician and was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife Hanna Bass of Winter Haven, sons Jess A. Bass and Floyd L. Bass III of Winter Haven, daughter Sarah Bass of Winter Haven, brothers Craig R. Bass of Zephyrhills and Jeffrey C. Bass of Lakeland, sisters Cathy Tapia, Nancy Bass and Donna Amato, all of Arizona, and 6 grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Winter Haven. Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale serving the family.
