"I have some bad and very sad news. Kathy (KACK) LaVars Searing passed away on January 1st, 2022. I just got this devastating news, so I thought it was fitting to let others know. Those of us who knew and loved her will miss her terribly. I knew Kack and her wonderful family even before PHS. She reached out to me several years ago and we reconnected. I am grateful for that. She was one in a million. A heart of gold and quite a character."
