Dawn Schnur Memorial
On behalf of Dawn Schnur, we would like to thank all of you – including her family members, former students, friends, ministry partners, church family members – who have reached out with your kind words during these final days of Dawn’s courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

So many of you have asked what you can do and how you can help. Because we want to honor Dawn, we would ask that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a contribution to this Go Fund Me page, which we have set up to raise $5,000 needed to cover her final expenses and memorial services.

Dawn has served the Lord and sowed faithfully as a pastor for many decades. We plan to hold memorial services in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where she has resided the past 2 years, and in Kalispell, Montana, where she pastored for 20 years.

Any funds raised above our goal will be put into a memorial fund in Dawn’s name to bless the work being done in Kenya through h.o.w? Ministry.

Dawn's Medical Trip Fund
I have had the privilage of knowing Dawn Schnur for most of my life. She has been my big sister, great friend, encourger through tough times, and cheerleader for as long as I can remember. So I have no hesitation about bringing her current need to you, my friends. Being a private person, she has not shared much of what she has been going through the last year or so. Here is a short version....Dawn Schnur was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in December of 2013. This year, her condition has progressed to include early Dementia as well. Though the physical difficulties are being managed as best as they can, she struggles every day with memory issues which are getting progressively worse. She is no longer able to work and has applied for disability, which can take up to 6 months to process. Because her condition does not fit within the normal parameters of Parkinson’s or Dementia, both her primary physician and neurologist have referred her to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Both physicians have reached the maximum in their area of expertise in which to help Dawn and are looking for a second opinion. The goal with the appointment at Mayo is to further evaluate and find a treatment plan that will possibly help slow the progression of the diseases. Dawn’s appointment is set for July 7th. We are asking for your help in purchasing plane tickets for Dawn and Janet (her friend and caregiver) to MN. The cost for 2 round trip tickets is approximately $1500. Any monies raised above this goal would be used for other medical expenses during and after this trip. We know that Dawn has touched many lives and we hope that you will bless her financially and continue to pray for healing. Please share this post with your contacts, many of whom I am sure Dawn has greatly impacted for good. Blessings!

Dawn was one of my best friends in Jr and High School.  We had so many fun times together. LOL  crazy days.I don't go on Classmates very often so I was very sad to see she had passed.  I loved her very much and wish I had known about her illness .  The last time I saw her she came to see me after I was married in the 80s.  She took me to church with her and we laughed the whole time because it was so strange to me that she was so involved.  God was the best thing that happened to her.

I love you and miss you Dawn.  You are with God now
