Samuel (Sam) Paul Kuntz, beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away late in the evening of Friday, December 31, 2021. Sam was born July 11, 1951 to Paul (Bob) Kuntz and Pearl (Markle) Kuntz of Pomona, California and attended school at Kingsley Elementary, Emerson Jr. High and graduated from Pomona High School in 1970 where he was a charter member, treasurer and president of the Pomona High School Interact Club. Sam spent his younger years learning about his father's plumbing business and car repair and worked for several auto parts stores. His many business associates and friends can attest to his vast knowledge of auto machinery and equipment repair, tools and parts as well as his ability to search out even the most obscure part needed or the best repair shop to recommend. Throughout the years, you could find Sam in his garage, working on and restoring cars with one of his many friends and reminiscing about adventures with friends and telling stories of people he met along the way. Sam is survived by his sister, Beverly George Marsh and husband John Marsh of Ontario, CA; nephew, David Kuntz of Chino Hills, CA; Natalie Kuntz of Jurupa Valley, CA; niece, Dana Marsh Green of Colorado and great nieces and nephews Jacob Kuntz of Upland,CA; Emily Tuckness-Kuntz of Chino Hills, CA. He will be greatly missed by all.
