Dale Ray Little, 55, of the Bethlehem community (Taylorsville), passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at his residence following an extended illness. Dale was born on March 3, 1955, to parents Grady Lloyd Little and Alberta Harold Ingram in Charlestowne, W.Va. He married his wife, Paulla Lee Smith, on Feb. 18, 1983. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1996 - 22 and one-half years of active duty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Melody Ann Little Butler, in 1982. In addition to his wife, those left to cherish his memory include their daughter, Kelly Marie Little of Charleston, S.C.; a half-brother, Danny Connor of Jacksonville; four half-sisters, Darbie, Karen, Sharon and Sherry Lynn; stepmother, Ruth Queen Little of Taylorsville; mother-in-law, Arthur and Bernice Smith of Charleston, S.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Liledoun Baptist Church. The service will be on Wednesday, July 14, at Liledoun Baptist Church at 2 p.m., where the Rev. James Lockee will officiate. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the funeral.
