Feeling sad. One of my childhood best friends, JOY OLIVER, died April 14, 2018 of a massive heart attack in Tennessee. She was 66 and worked at Home Depot. She was a Mom and a Grandmother.
Joy and I went all thru Elementary, Jr. High and High School together in Potomac, Maryland. Joy, her brother, Eddie and I rode the same school bus #417. Their mom, Marjorie, took us to Brownies and Girl Scouts, school dances. I went to Joy's wedding.
Over the years we lost touch, however, I never forgot her. So thankful to Facebook and Eddie, that we found each other. I was hoping that we would be able to see each other again. However, time was against us. Sending my love to her family, Eddie and Judy, Carol, Joy's children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. God needed a wonderful Angel, and thats why he took our wonderful JOY. She made this world a better place by being in it. Please cherish each day.

It is indeed sad news to hear of Joy’s sudden death.... I remember Joy best from elementary school. She was a very kind and gentle soul.... humble and unassuming. She was well loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Thoughts and prayers for her family and for you Betty, as well.
