Mr. Michael Lynn Buchanan, 60, of Frederick, MD, passed away July 11, 2012 at his residence.Born April 27, 1952 in Marion, VA, to the late Mary Anne Sprinkle Buchanan, he was later adopted by and step-son of the late Alvie W. Buchanan.He graduated from Winston Churchill High School, Class of 1970. Michael's life passion was the outdoors. He preferred to be outdoors sleeping under the stars. Some of his other passions included reading, speed boats, building model sail boats and most of all, Harley Davidson motorcycles.Michael is survived by his son, Michael S. Buchanan, of Middletown, MD, and sister, Sherri Buchanan, of Williamsport, MD.Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W.
