Always the artist, Gary went on to be quite an artistic success, only to be cut down by the AIDS epidemic in 1986. From goofing around school to hanging out at the Unitarian church youth group, to riding the bus from Carderock Springs, Gary was a great friend and a lot of fun to be around. He was a part of the "nerds with style" gang. And Gary had more style than most of us.
