Margaret "Peg" Lewis

A native of Bethesda, Peg had lived in Durham for several years. Prior to moving to Durham she had resided in Allentown, PA, where she was Associate Curator for Education at the Allentown Museum. She had also worked as a paralegal. Since living in Durham, she had been employed with Duke University.

She was survived by: her father & step-mother, Dr. Marc & Anne Lewis; brother, Dr. Michael Lewis (Jill); sister, Marcia Lewis; and former husband, James Shackelford.

She was predeceased by her mother, Martha Bernstein Lewis and her husband, Mark Abraham Silver
