David died on 5-25-2002 in a car accident in Bethesda. He is survived by Jackie Czecha, children, family and friends.

David Lee Pedersen, Potomac Maryland, May 25, 2002. Dave passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in a car accident. Dave earned a BA at St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN, a MPA from Drake University. For the last twenty years he was a management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton in Washington, DC, where he specialized in health care and pharmaceutical IT systems. While at BAH, Dave earned their highest award, the Professional Excellence Award. He was also well known for mentoring consultants new to the firm. Dave loved music and played the cornet and trumpet. He was a member of the St. Olaf Band and the Rockville (Maryland) Concert Band along with his father and brother Mark. In addition to family and music, he loved trains and traveling. Dave is survived by his best friend and wife, Jackie Czecha; two children, Claire and Paul; two stepchildren; his parents Paul and Lilly Pedersen; two sisters, Judy Pedersen Bettinger and Sandy Walling; brother Mark Pedersen; parents-in-law; and many sisters & brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
