Leslie H. Sooter (1953-1999)

Leslie Hardin Sooter, of Juneau, Alaska, died December 17, 1999 in Juneau, while awaiting a liver transplant.  He was born October 30, 1953, in Greeley, Colorado.  He attended college in Willmar, Minnesota, and later served in the U.S. Air Force.  He moved to Juneau in July of 1992, and worked as a fisherman.  He is survived by his wife Jana Sooter; his sons, Jesse and Shem, all of Douglas, AK; and his sisters, Ruth Phillips of Minnesota and Clare Griffith of California.
