Cary Lee Ireland-Herrera

April 16, 1971 - March 21, 2015

COTATI,CA - Our precious daughter, mother, wife and granddaughter left us far too soon, but blessed us all with her life, beauty and wonderful sense of humor. Cary Lee Ireland-Herrera passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Cary was born in Presque Isle, ME on April 16, 1971.

She was an office manager and dental assistant in Sonoma and Marin Counties, in California for the past 10 years. She received her training and certification from Santa Rosa J.C. in California.

Cary loved going to the beach, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved Maine and always considered Presque Isle her "home". Cary was loved deeply by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

She was the first grandchild of the Irelands and had a very special bond with "Nana Bobbie" and "Grampy Rayzor".

Cary is survived by her husband, Brian Herrera; daughter Ruby Shea Herrera, of Cotati, CA; mother, Debbie Goan and step-father, Michael Booth of Grass Valley, CA; paternal grandmother, Bobbie Ireland of Presque Isle, ME; aunts and uncles, Billy Ireland, Kim and Wendy Ireland, Becky and Albert Martin, Pam and Gene Lynch, John and Lynn Ireland, Sherry and Lance Plissey, Joan Ferland, Connie Reynolds, Carol and Dan Maynard, Pat and Deli Deletetsky; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by father, "Teddy" Ireland; daughter, Carly Rae Herrera; paternal grandfather, Ray Ireland; and maternal grandparents, Philip and Phyllis Goan.

A "celebration of her life" took place at the home of Gail Herrera, 5016 Raven Way, Clayton, CA 94517, on Saturday, March 28, between 1 and 3 p.m.
