In Memory

Kim Hitchcock (Hammond)

Kim (Hitchcock) Hammond
June 14, 1971 - October 7, 2014

Kim Nora Hammond, 43, went home on Oct. 7, 2014 with her loved ones by her side at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She was born on June 14, 1971 in Fort Fairfield. Kim left behind her devoted husband Doug Hammond, her two daughters that she thought the world of, Stephanie and Brooke-Ann, “son” Christopher Wilcox, the light of her life grandson Mason James all of Easton, her mother Kathy Vaughn of Easton, sister Billie Jo of Florida, her father Charlie Hitchcock and stepmother Irma from Caribou, brothers; Mike, Chris and Kelli Hitchcock as well as many other family members and friends she cared dearly for. There was never a dull moment with Kim. She enjoyed her camping trips with family, her regular lunch date with a special friend, putting her two girls in pageants, being fully involved in the Easton FFA, working down at Flewelling Farms “with her boys”, never missing a game, soccer or basketball that her girls were playing in home or away and you would always see “Mustang Sally” driving her dream car.

We would like to thank the special nurses on the ICU unit at TAMC and her Oncologist, Dr. Sood for caring and giving mom the special care she deserved. There will be a benefit supper to support Kim’s family, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 6 pm at the Easton Elementary School, Easton. Friends and family may call 12 noon, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Easton Wesleyan Church, 210 Center Road, Easton where a Memorial service will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Services in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
