PORTLAND & MAPLETON - Todd E. Madore, 39, died accidently April 11, 2010, in Portland. He was born July 18, 1970 in Presque Isle, the son of Ronald and Claudia (Cummings) Madore.

Besides his parents of Mapleton, he is survived by a brother, Bryant and his wife, Becky and a special niece, Stephanie, all of North Carolina; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be remembered by a dear friend, Kevin Wasson of Castle Hill.

Interment will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery later this spring.

Police identify body, say foul play is not suspected

Police have identified a body found floating in Portland Harbor.

Lt. Gary Rogers said Monday that an autopsy indicated 39-year-old Todd Madore of Mapleton had drowned. Police do not suspect foul play.

Two fishermen found the body late Sunday afternoon, wedged between Custom House Wharf and a fishing boat.
