Donna Marie Grant (Belanger) passed away peacefully at her home in Madison, Maine, on September 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.

She was 55 years old

Born on July 4, 1970, in New Britain, Connecticut, Donna was the beloved daughter of Paul Emile Belanger and Lena Belanger (Dumond). Her vibrant spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

Donna found joy in the simple pleasures of life-spending cherished time with her family and friends, especially her three adored grandsons. She loved shopping, relaxing by the water, and creating lasting memories with those closest to her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Grant; her three sons, Ryan Brown of Augusta, Maine, Dylan Brown of Winslow, Maine, and Zakary Brown of Madison, Maine; and her grandsons, Skylar, Teagan, and Bridgeton. Donna also leaves behind her sister Paula Kocur and husband Richard of Hooksett, New Hampshire; her brothers Paul E. Belanger Jr. and wife Margaret of Kennebunk, Maine, Roger Belanger of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and her twin brother Donald Belanger of Martinsburg, West Virginia. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

In honor of Donna's life and legacy, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, supporting the fight against the disease that she faced with grace and strength.

Donna's warmth, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
